“So, you’re not going to tell me why you pulled me out of school?”  I'm not asking because I expect an answer.  No, I'm actually explaining the situation to Tamijitsu.  She keeps a tiny portion of herself in my datapad.
“Why are you taking me downtown?  I didn’t see a badge.  Are you even cops?”  From the way the principal deferred to them, I assumed so.
Oh no.  There’s one group....  The blood drains out of my face.  The Secret Police.
Oh, shiss.
“You talk too much, kid.”
I take as deep a breath as I can and gather my courage.  If I could magically pull it out of myself, I suspect it would be a tiny, shriveled mess.  Still, it's what I've got.  “I have the right to know why you’re doing this.  Where are you taking me?  Why are you doing this?”
“You don’t have right to shiss, you little porglet.  Now shut your tarned mouth or get stunned.”  His fierce, hard expression tells me in no uncertain terms that he’s serious.
Remembering something I saw on a holo-show, I say, “I’m underage.  Does my mother know about this?”
He gives me an ugly smile.  “No.  But, she’s about to.”
