William R. Humble

William R. Humble is a native Texan who’s been writing for longer than he feels comfortable admitting. Though he’s dabbled in other literary areas, his love of speculative fiction keeps drawing him back. Despite his cats often objecting to him spending so much time writing, he's gonna keep on keeping on. He's stubborn that way.

In addition to the cats, his writing environment somewhat resembles a strange mating dance of notebooks and sticky pads that spontaneously exploded. But despite the misalignment of order, his book ideas continue to flourish and there are consistently follow-up pieces in the works and new tales on the horizon. It's worth checking in on occasion to see what new masterpiece William R. Humble has cooked up.

In working with a variety of people over the years, his characters echo their differences in a way that highlights the worth of their deeds rather than their physical appearance or love life. His hope is, in reading his books, at least one person will choose to take that truth about the worth of humanity beyond the pages and into the real world. Societal issues aside, he desires to foster a new trend of enjoying reading when someone picks up one of his stories or novels. He hopes to leave a legacy of slowing down long enough to read for pleasure and truly loving it!
